The local station for Benijofar is situated just outside of San Isidro (take the first Catral exit off the AP-7 and follow signs for San Isidro). The station is named Albatera-Catral. To find times of trains from this station go to www.renfe.com This website is available in English by selecting ´Welcome´ at the top of the page. You then need to click on ´Commuter Trains´ at the top left hand side. You then select ´Murcia/Alicante´ as the region and can then find out where the trains go to and the times.
To get further afield, eg Valencia, Barcelona you need to go to Alicante first then catch a train from Alicante.

Tickets are purchased in your local station on the day of travel from the automated ticket machine.

To give you an idea of pricing, a return ticket to Alicante will be around €5 - cheaper than taking the car and paying parking!! The train station in Alicante is situated in the centre close to El Corte Ingles.
